A South Jersey tradition for more than 30 Years
The Voorhees Ballet Theatre is proud to be presenting The Nutcracker to NJ audiences for our 36th season! Set to the timeless Tchaikovsky score, The Nutcracker tells the magical story of a young girl who receives an odd gift from her Godfather at her family's Christmas party: a wooden Nutcracker. After all the guests leave, Clara realizes how incredible this Nutcracker is when he comes to life and battles an evil giant Mouse King, and takes her on an incredible journey through the Land of Sweets.
Performances will be held December 6-8 at Voorhees Middle School Theatre.
Again this year, we will be offering a sensory-friendly production! This shorter version of The Nutcracker is designed to be more welcoming for those with sensory sensitivities.
Online ticket sales begin at 12 noon on Sunday, October 20th.
